- Prezados, o post de hoje é sobre o verbo to be... O bom e velho verbo to be. Ele significa ser e estar. Importante dizer que apesar do que muitos pensam e após alguns anos nesse ramo os alunos costumam confundir o pronome pessoal ( I, you, he, she, it, we, you they) com o verbo to be. No presente ele será sempre ( AM, IS, ARE).
- No forma interrogativa invertemos o verbo to be (am, is are) passando para frente do sujeito da frase.
- Na forma Negativa - Acrescentamos a palavra NOT logo após o verbo to be (am, is, not)

Alguns exemplos:
1. I´m at home. (Estou em casa.) - Am I at home?
2. Are you there? (Você tá aí?)
3. She´s a really happy person. (Ela é muito feliz.) - Is she a really happy person?
Expressões:
1. How old are you? (Qual sua idade?)
2. What time is it? (Quantas horas?)
3. Be careful. (Toma cuidado.)
4. Are you sure? (Tem certeza?)
